Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42102575) and the date (6/28/1442), and concerning the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (5649/42/1) dated (06/26/1442) The aforementioned referred to the summons received by the Authority by a number of licensees to practice the car rental activity and which included their complaint about the inability to cancel the authorization of the rented vehicle that is circulated by the security authorities, which results in the infliction of the penalties and penalties prescribed by the system for not canceling the authorization upon receipt of the vehicle The leased rental company, in accordance with what was stipulated in the regulations governing the activity of car rental and leasing intermediaries issued by the Minister of Transport Resolution No. (120/42/1) dated (7/5/1441), and as the authority reports that it has written to the General Directorate of Traffic on the matter. The statement was received that the authorization cannot be canceled if there are circulars on the vehicle through the (Tamm) system, and that the issuing of the circular is the one that handles the procedures after the circular, and that traffic departments can review such cases to cancel the authorization following the regulations and instructions.
